Here are some things to see and do in Longmont:
Golden Ponds is a beautiful park where you can walk around a series of lakes, enjoy the water birds, and see great views of the mountains. Starting at Golden Ponds, Longmont has a long system of greenway trails that allow you to follow the St. Vrain river through the city.
Prospect is a small, new community just south of Longmont. It is designed to be architecturally diverse and environmentally friendly, and is very interesting to visit and explore.
The Memorial Rose Garden at Roosevelt Park features almost 200 varieties of roses. Roosevelt Park also has a playground and wading pool for kids and a walking loop.
Flanders Park -- well, we can't resist including this one, since it's named after Rebecca's family (on her mother's side).
Left Hand Brewing is a local brewery and restaurant.
Hover Home is a lovely historic house with gardens.
